One of the most iconic and memorable buildings in the city of Burgas is that of the Sea Casino, located on the central avenue in the Sea Garden. The idea for its construction dates back to 1936, when a competition was announced for the design of a casino in the Sea Garden. The order of the then mayor of the city, Atanas Sirekov - one of the best mayors of Burgas, arouses great interest. In the modernly equipped halls and adjacent open spaces, concerts, theater performances, film screenings, exhibitions, book presentations, creative workshops, trainings, festivals, etc. are held. With the romantic view of the sea that it reveals, the Casino is also a preferred place for civil marriages.
